News of the Naval Victory in the North Sea received in which the German ship Blücher is sent to the bottom & 2 cruisers damaged with on 10 or so casualties on our side Jan 27 A quiet day - no birthday salutes - visited supporting point IV which is a big farm building put into a state of defence. Three shells were put right through the roof of this place yesterday but no one was hurt although there were 50 men in it. It is a dangerous trap to my mind & is sure to be shelled to pieces in the event of an attack. The head quarters
