Nov 8th Say goodbye to General Bowes and his Brigade & march to Strenwercke [sic] to join the 9th Brigade near YPRES - a tiring march and the men are done up after their long time in the trenches - feet are soft - officers even too felt the march Nov 9th Attached to 7th Division as reserve ordered to stay in billets for the present - men have an opportunity to wash and change and get a hot meal.
