trenches are on higher ground than ours on the right section. Feb 25 to 28 The left section can be visited by daylight & I went to G trench daily; there is a good deal of work to be done on it. On the 26th the Lincolns were ordered to demolish a house which German Snipers were using; two sappers with guncotton & one officer & two men of the Lincolns crept out about 100 yards and laid the charge and blew down the house which was about 50 yards in front of the German trench.
