Weather dry and warm the 6th Division were ordered to move at 24 hours notice but the order was cancelled, presumably they were to have gone South to take the place of one of the divisions which had lost heavily. As things at present stand we shall be relieved by the 6th Division on the 14th of this month. 10-13 July 1916Germans began to shell Poperinghe again, which had been stopped by our 12" gun more than a month ago. At that time their billets at Westroosebeek were shelled and one shell fell into the church killing & wounding 50 Huns. Since then they have not fired another shell [church – crossed out] into Poperinghe until [the – crossed out] now when they fired twelve which did not as much damage.
