Owing to the terrible state of the ground the relief is not completed till 8am on the 21st. 21 September 1916 The Division moves to Forked Tree Camp. 22 September 1916 Division moves to Treux & brigades billet at Meaulte, Ville and Marlancourt. Weather begins to clear & is not so cold. 23-24 September 1916 Lovely sunny days. Men get baths & clean clothes. 25 September 1916 Orders received to relieve the 5th Division tomorrow night after the Les Boeufs Morval battle today.
