Two copies, one with a manuscript number in red on the bottom right corner of the print, '81.57', and on the back a typescript caption, 'Sherif Sharraf and troops on the march near Jebel Serd, March 1917', Imperial War Museum ref: Q58939, and manscript note, 'these 4 photos by T E Lawrence, courtesy B H Liddell Hart'. Second copy is a photograph of the first, printed on the back, 'Photo by Brian Seed'.
