against Austria 25 May 1915 Receive orders that 9th Brigade is to hand over to 13th Brigade 26 May 1915 The 13th Brigade take over & finish reliefs at 1.30am In the afternoon I show the Brigadier over a good part of the line. The 9th Brigade moves back to huts near OUDERDUM. 27 May 1915 The 9th Brigade ordered to relieve the 85th Brigade in trenches near POTYZE north east of Ypres. I motored to the 85th Brigade Head Quarters about 1½ miles & got details of our new line. The Brigadier was wounded last night, & the Brigade major is pro. tem. commanding. On the left of the line the German trenches are about 500 yards from ours - & on the right within 100 yards.
