Mar 28th Bright and very cold. Visited B sector in the afternoon Mar 29 Made a tour of A Sector at night starting at 9.30pm & returning at 2am comparatively quiet at night Mar 30 Nothing much doing fairly quiet " 31 Perfect weather & quite warm April 1 Received order that we are to rejoin 3rd Division on 4th we take over St ELOI at present on our right. This was the scene of the fight about Mar 18 when the Germans attacked after heavy bombardment & took some of the trenches south of St Eloi & occupied the mound from which the 80th Brigade failed to dislodge them.
