I do not know if Buchanan is coming or not. Sir C Fergusson is trying to get Blake made Brigade Major vice Hildyard but D Smith's appointment having been made by the War Office the matter has to be referred home. D Smith would eventually get Butler's[?] Brigade. In the meantime Baker will carry on with Blake and I will let you know when D Smith has to come.
