for us. It is still very cold & wet and it is not by any means pleasant in camp during this weather. The huts have all been constructed for warm weather, plenty of ventilation. Visited some battery positions in the morning & some of them with very little on top of the gun pits & would hardly keep out splinters. The men's dug outs are very thin too. The Germans have been registering on some of our trenches with 5.9s & 4.2s. I should not be at all surprised if they attack as soon as they know we have gas emplacements & we have given them a tremendous doing during the last ten days with trench mortars and artillery.
