The 20th Division take over a portion of the 21st Division line tomorrow near Guedecourt. 29 September 1916 Move headquarters to Bernafay Wood and take over about 1000 yards of front from the 21st Division. Quiet relief. The 61st Brigade hold the whole line with the other two brigades in reserve. 30 September 1916 A warm day. Walk over to see the 61st Brigade Headquarters. From an observation post I got a good view of the front from Bapaume to Le Transloy, both sides shelling.
