French 36th Corps, commanded by General Lerveux , being a junction between us & the French it is a likely spot for attack & the Germans are within a few yards of the junction. The Germans occupy the high grounds as usual & can observe all our trenches. My work is particularly interesting & I am getting into it more each day.
